The Education Network is a Supply Agency of the most professional type. Their most precious and valuable asset is their staff. Hardworking and well informed. Absolutely. Interpersonal skills are evident in abundance. Knowledgeable. Fully aware of how schools and teaching staff operate. Highly trained. All of these things and more. An ease of operating the whole school supply and demand business. Honest. Also, all of those other skills required to be the very best. It's more than that, however. It is the personal and kind way I have been treated over a long period of time, as a supply teacher, which sets them apart from every other teaching agency; this puts them at the top of their business. You instilled confidence in me and made me feel so valuable. Shaun. Dan. Vicky. Jonathan. Kevin. Now Stuart. The other fantastic staff. These are the people I have worked with and spoken to, many mornings. Cheerful and positive. I am so very grateful for all of the teaching opportunities which have enhanced my life. Without them, my life would have been far less interesting. Thank you to all of you. I would recommend you to any new supply teacher and to any school as I know they will be treated with fairness and respect. Above all though, kindness.

The Education Network is an amazing resource for us. They are highly professional, whilst also being extremely flexible. I use them mainly for after school tuition/home tuition for our cohort of Children Looked After. The quality of tutors is always very high. The tutors communicate brilliantly with the subject teachers to ensure smooth transfer or knowledge and consistency. Claire typically replies to emails within 15 to 30 minutes which makes organisation on the school side so much easier. The whole package is a well organised and highly efficient resource that will enhance any School’s extra support facilities

I have been a client of The Education Network for over 2 years. In that time i have only ever found them to be; professional, friendly, courteous and proficient (to list but a few adjectives). They are understanding and in the time i have been with them i have never been out of work. I would highly recommend their services if you are starting your teaching career or indeed in the case of myself moving from another area to seek full time work. It is so refreshing when a supply agency spends as much time in finding you employment as well as creating a relationship with its client. I cannot praise this agency enough for the support and help and work over the last 2 years. Many thanks to Shaun, Kenny, Lewis and the gang at 'Team EdNet', it has been a pleasure.

We started using The Education Network in March 2015 and ever since they have become my first contact whenever I need cover or supply. I have built a good relationship with our consultant, Ben Reeves. The quality of candidates The Education Network supplies Sacred Heart with is in most cases very good.

I have known Kenny Sandelands for several years, firstly through our association with his previous supply company and more recently with The Education Network. Our supply needs are predominantly to cover long term teacher absence so finding the right person to join our staff temporarily is important to us. Kenny, and other members of the team have met with staff on several occasions in order to get a feel for the school. They go out of their way to ensure the right fit when placing staff for long periods. This is apparent from the calibre of supply staff they have referred to us. Between placements, Kenny keeps in touch with a phone call or an email every few weeks. There is not the ‘hard sell’ approach that some companies take, which is very much appreciated. The Education Network is at the top of our ‘go to’ list when looking for supply staff and will remain at the top. I would recommend them to any school without hesitation.

At Green Lane School our first point of call is The Education Network. We have a good relationship with the Warrington branch whose consultants are very experienced. They provide an excellent service; through their good understanding of our school and the pupil’s needs. They realise what type of staff we are looking for whether it is a Teacher or a Teaching Assistant on long term or short term basis. We value the team and appreciate all the care and hard work they do for us.

As a teacher I have used the services of several Educational Recruitment services over the years. An agency I would particularly recommend though is The Education Network in Chelmsford. The process of enrolment is particularly stress free and speedy. The interviewer was very concerned that my requirements and preferences were the main priority and was very friendly and personable. Work was found quickly and most importantly it was a post matching my requirements. Prior to successfully obtaining the post ,I was given all the information required about the school and therefore felt thoroughly prepared. I sensed Charlie Demmel, in charge of secondary recruitment had done everything possible to get me the best contract possible. Once working for The Education Network, Charlie was very concerned that I was happy in the post. Most importantly I felt that he was there for me and valued me as a client. In fact all the staff at the agency I dealt with had this attitude. If you are seeking a teaching post I would highly recommend contacting ‘The Education Network’. They really care about their clients and go that extra mile to get the right contract for them.

I’m writing this recommendation of Clint and his team at The Education Network for their help over the last 2 years - with them providing teachers, TAs and administrative staff across our school for both day-to-day and long-term positions. Since turning to Clint for our supply cover, it has become clear that The Education Network prides itself on the quality of their staff and I’ve been delighted with the consistency, professionalism and promptness of their service. Regardless of the time of day (or night!) and despite any immediate time-frames to cover emergency bookings, I know that when my email or text is sent, the matter is in hand and that the next school day can run smoothly. Clint and the team have been incredibly flexible when arranging cover and have always managed to ensure that the right person has been sent for the role (including those roles which aren’t as simple as most are!). It has been reassuring that The Education Network team actively seek feedback on each member of staff and I understand that regular CPD is provided to further develop their teaching professionals. In particular I have to praise their approach. Every person in the Education Network office is jovial and fun but professional and helpful, I never feel like I am being sold to or pestered which, when you are in a busy school environment is important. Perhaps the most beneficial aspect to working with The Education Network (aside from the level of service and the fact that, despite their size, they don’t persistently call and disrupt the office unnecessarily) is their offer to directly appoint their staff without having to pay any fees. We simply ‘try’ the teacher and, once we’ve decided they are the right person, we can offer them a contract directly after 12 weeks of their first day. This has helped to save us a considerable amount of money compared to ‘traditional’ appointment methods and has helped us to find the right person without risk. This has particularly worked well for us when we have funded roles such as SEN support for individual children and staffing is required to support the child specifically. All of the staff we have had from Clint have ended up working for us on a permanent basis in this area. I have no concern in recommending teachers and teaching assistants to The Education Network as all of the staff that have joined us have nothing but praise for the agency. I hope to continue this working relationship into the future and would recommend other schools to turn to Clint and the Team to try The Education Network for themselves.

I have worked with Clint McKellar and the Education Network for the last two years. During this time we have developed a relationship from working on our day to day supply needs to longer term and covering a term. It is not only teachers but learning support assistants and secretarial staff that The Education Network has supplied staff for our school. The requests I have made for staff have always been carefully considered by The Education Network consultant. Visits by the consultant to school allow them to make clear judgements about our needs which is extremely important. Each person we have recruited has been a success. In the early stages of any recruitment, The Education Network is very keen to ask for and gain feedback on the suitability of the staff. Communication via telephone and emails are most useful in the feedback process. When there is a crisis it is also very reassuring to be able to contact outside usual school hours, with someone available to consider our needs for the next day. Our school is now one of The Education Network’s partnership schools. This choice was considered carefully at school level. The considerable care and personal service makes it quite clear that The Education Network is a very committed and professional organisation who work hard to ensure that our school has its needs met. The Education Network continues to develop with initiatives such as its new ‘MicroSite’. It has remained competitive with its pricing structure for staff. I have been most impressed with the service, communication and understanding the company has bestowed on Gosforth Central Middle School and look forward to continuing our relationship.

I have used The Education Network for my supply needs for the last two years. The service provided by the team and in particularly Kenny, who is my contact for our school, has always been excellent. Quite a lot of our cover requires many one-off periods or ‘pinch points’ across the day where I may need three people to cover period 1, etc... And Kenny is always able to meet my requests, but if he can’t, he will let me know as soon as possible so that I can go to another agency. On the rare occasion that I may have had a problem with someone who has covered, Kenny has always ensured that the matter has been dealt with and lets me know the outcome. He also lets me know if supply staff have given positive feedback about our school, which is always good for us to know. I have built up a very good relationship with Kenny and the team and would have no hesitation in recommending the company to other schools.

Recently, I accepted a job as a teacher in a school for pupils with Special Needs – a job that The Education Network found for me. I had support from the Special Needs Specialist who acted on my behalf in a very professional manner whilst being sympathetic to the complexities I had in my life at the time. I found all the staff I spoke with to be helpful and supportive during my time with the agency. As such, I would recommend The Education Network to any professionals seeking an agent to act on their behalf when pursuing a career in education.

I approached The Education Network when I saw a job advertised by them on the internet, my initial contact with them regarding the vacancy was positive and friendly. This was with different people within the company before I spoke with Eileen Norris who was dealing with the particular vacancy I was interested in. Eileen listened to my experience and expectations before providing me with a clear and detailed picture of the next step in the process. She was friendly, attentive and very experienced and knows the education sector really well. The registration process and then subsequent interview with the school in question went really well and i secured the position. It was also clear at my interview that Eileen is respected as a consultant and has built strong relationships with staff within the schools she works with. Eileen was on hand all the way through the process and has kept in touch since! All the staff at The Education Network Warrington, are friendly, personable, and very helpful! I have gone onto secure a permanent position within the school!

I registered with The Education Network mid February 2016 and started work as a Cover Supervisor on 7th March 2016. My consultant was Charlie Demmel. He has been an outstanding colleague to work with, highly knowledgeable about the education sector, very hard working and always willing and able to offer me excellent advice. The process to register was very easy and straightforward. I was telephoned within a few hours of submitting my application and was able to arrange an interview at the Chelmsford office in the same week. The exact details (which documents I needed, what references etc...) were explained in a very clear manner and Charlie was very helpful and reassuring when talking me through each stage of the registration process. This was especially true when explaining umbrella companies and how I would be paid. The interview with Charlie was conducted in a very relaxed and encouraging manner. He was able to create a positive and supportive environment in which I felt able to focus clearly and to answer his questions to the best of my ability. I was offered work within two days of receiving my DBS clearance. The work since then has been regular (on average at least two to three days a week) and with a variety of different schools. I have been fortunate to have had work that has been booked with schools several days in advance and on some occasions weeks in advance, as well as being requested for work on the same day. The only reason I have turned down work is that there has been too much of it! I am also registered with another agency and so have largely been able to work on a full time basis. Superb! Charlie (and on occasion Matt if Charlie is away) have been excellent in their communications with me, providing clear, consistent and regular advice about the work I am undertaking as well as the prospects for work in the future. Working with The Education Network has been a very easy and stress free process. My phone calls have always been answered quickly and emails returned promptly. The Education Network provided me with an outstanding level of service during my time working with them. I would unreservedly recommend them to anyone who is looking for work, or who is thinking about starting a career in the education sector. After registering with The Education Network I gained regular, paid employment as a Cover Supervisor and have since been accepted onto the Teach First programme. I am sure that without the experiences and opportunities provided to me by The Education Network this would not have been the case.

Alexandra Park Primary School has been using the service provided by The Education Network for a number of years now. We have a dedicated consultant Sharon Shippham who is always professional and responds to our needs sometimes at very short notice. Any concerns raised are dealt with discreetly, promptly and effectively and The Education Network demonstrate an excellent understanding of the day to day needs of our school. Customer Care is taken very seriously and they regularly seek feedback to ensure they are meeting the needs of our school. I would recommend them to other schools looking to cover both long term and short term absences.

My time at The Education Network has been simply absorbing. I have been working alongside you for the past 3 years and have never been without placements. You are all so professional yet friendly in your approach to placing staff in their desired locations. Apart from that I have always felt that you are only a phone call away which is a comfort. The support is outstanding and immediate. It was through your diligence that I landed a role at my present school and from that a permanent post has arisen in a role I am suited to. I would like to take this opportunity in thanking you for everything you have done for me. My personal statement is now that little bit better!

I just wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed working for your company. You were always approachable, friendly and helpful - a pleasure to work with! Also, I can honestly say I enjoyed every single assignment - great pupils and very rewarding to see their progress. I would certainly recommend your agency to others. I'm missing you already!

Whilst I have only been using The Education Network for a relatively short period of time, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the services of both the agency and its teachers. Agency staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating in taking the time to understand exactly the needs of my school and doing their very best to match the right teacher to the need. Either my experience of agency teachers has been poor or TEN is outstandingly good because agency teachers employed through TEN have been of a very high quality. Not only are they clearly professional, experienced, effective and committed to carrying out a good job, they have been understanding of pupil challenges, remarkably flexible in their time and adjustments, and also happy to 'muck in' when the pupil is not in school and they are asked to redirect their attentions in the school. In terms of teacher quality, honestly the best agency I have worked with, and no hesitation in returning to them at any point in the future.
