DT Teacher – Newcastle

Are you a passionate and dedicated DT Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a supportive secondary school? We are working with a school that are seeking a DT Teacher to join their team November 2025 on an ongoing basis.

The Role:

✅ Teaching DT to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students
✅ Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
✅ Assessing and tracking student progress
✅ Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
✅Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum

The Ideal Candidate:

✔  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or relevant qualification
✔  Specialism in Product Design or Engineering
✔  Experience teaching DT at secondary level, up to A-Level
✔  Strong classroom management skills
✔  Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
 
Please note, this is a main pay scale role and the pay range of £162.31 - £223.62 is linked to your current teacher pay scale.
