Learning Support Assistant - Newcastle 

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a great secondary school in Newcastle. The role is to begin September 2025 and is on a full-time ongoing basis with the potential of being made permanent. 

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Providing one-to-one and small group support to students
✅ Assisting with learning activities in and outside the classroom
✅ Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and learning difficulties
✅ Encouraging engagement and confidence in learning

Requirements:
✔ Experience working with young people within the past 2 years
✔ A patient, supportive, and positive approach
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ A passion for education and student development
✔ Fully enhanced DBS or a willingness to apply for one via ourselves
