About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join one of our partnered schools. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting children with severe learning difficulties and autism in their daily activities, both educational and recreational. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care and support, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support and assistance to children with severe learning difficulties and autism.
  • Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans under the guidance of the educational and therapeutic teams.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including feeding, dressing, and hygiene.
  • Facilitate and participate in educational and recreational activities, promoting engagement and development.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure consistent and comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and record each child’s progress and report any concerns or changes to the senior staff.
  • Support children in developing social, communication, and life skills.
  • Assist with transportation and mobility as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience supporting individuals in care role is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures
