Position Overview:

Our client is looking for an Behaviour Support Worker to work within their SEMH setting, providing crucial support to students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEMH needs, tailored to their individual requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised intervention plans.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Utilise effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive outcomes.
- Support students in developing social and emotional skills.
- Act as a positive role model and mentor for students.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students in a SEMH setting is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and the ability to build trust and rapport with students.
- Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- An understanding of SEMH challenges and the ability to adapt support strategies accordingly.
