*** SEN Teaching Assistant
*** Central Birmingham
*** £80-£90 per day
*** Immediate start until July 2025
*** 1:1 and small group support for pupils with slight SEN requirements.
*** Working alongside a welcoming senior leadership team.
 
Requirements:

• At least a 2:1 bachelor’s degree in psychology, or a related field.
• Passion for the achievement of young SEN learners.
• An adaptable, flexible personality.
• Some knowledge of SEN.
• Commitment to following safeguarding procedures.
• Previous experience of working with pupils, additional support needs, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.

 
The Role:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional learning needs such as slight autism, ADHD, or dyslexia.
• Assisting teaching staff in the adaptation of learning materials and lesson plans to suit the individual needs of each pupil.
• Working in close collaboration with teaching staff and parents to create a positive learning environment.
• Assisting in the running of extra-curricular activities.
