The Graduate:- At least a 2:1 bachelor’s degree in psychology, or a related field.
- An empathetic, caring nature.
- Genuine passion for the education of young SEN pupils.
- Commitment to following safeguarding procedures to keep pupils safe.
- Previous experience of working with pupils, additional support needs, or in a school setting is preferable.
The Role:- Providing 1-2-1 and small group support to SEN pupils to improve their wellbeing and achievement levels.
- Working closely with teaching staff to plan and deliver stimulating lessons that are adapted to suit the individual needs of each pupil.
- Aiding the development of pupils’ basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Assisting in the coordination of extra-curricular activities to extend pupils’ passion for education beyond the classroom.
