The Role
A Good-rated secondary school in Solihull is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join their Performing Arts department from February 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis. The role involves delivering engaging and practical Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging confidence, creativity, and performance skills.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing pupil progress, and contributing to extracurricular activities such as productions or performances where appropriate. This role is suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop within a supportive and collaborative department.
The Candidate
- The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Have experience teaching Drama at secondary level
- Be confident delivering both practical and theory-based lessons
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
- Be enthusiastic, organised, and committed to pupil development
